Direct Support Person (DSP) - Day
If you like to work in a fun and rewarding environment, you may be a perfect fit for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position. The DSP works directly with individuals and is responsible for the implementation of the client’s Individual Plan, under the direction of a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional.
Responsibilities include daily documentation of service provided to each client to whom they are responsible. The DSP assures client rights, dignity, and privacy, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. The DSP functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary team.
Positions are available in our day programs in Aurora and Elgin.
High School education/ GED required.
Experience working with developmentally disabled adults preferred but not required.
Applicants must have valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
