Teaches one or more core classes and electives to 17 – 21 year olds working towards a high school diploma. Assists with individualized academic advisement and supportive services. Maintains accurate, up-to-date records of class and student progress. Models appropriate behaviors and teaches social skills needed to succeed in academic and vocational settings. Supports and collaborates with other teachers in a team approach to working with students.
B.A./B.S. from an accredited institution in a field related to math.
Illinois State Type 09 Certification required.
Prior experience with multi-ethnic population preferred.
