The Jazz Institute of Chicago is seeking a Membership, Volunteer and Operations Coordinator to join our small team to recruit and engage our members and volunteers. The Jazz Institute is a non-profit organization that promote and nurtures jazz in Chicago.
The primary duties are to coordinate the recruitment and retention of members and volunteers and provide excellent customer service to our current members and general office administration to ensure the organization runs as a cohesive unit. The position will also oversees a variety of activities including IT needs, client relations management applications and purchasing office supplies and equipment. Specific tasks include processing memberships and acting as the liaison between members and the organization, coordinating volunteers for all events including the Chicago Jazz Festival, Jazz Club Tour; and other duties as needed.
