Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Joliet is a local social service agency. The areas served include Will, Grundy, DuPage, Kendall, Kankakee, Ford and Iroquois counties.
The Grant Manager is responsible for researching new funding opportunities and provides grant management; assist in the preparation of grant budgets. Also, conceptualize, plan, implement, coordinate and monitor all grants making sure grant applications are received on time. Organizes, directs, coordinates and implements the preparation and issuance of grant proposals to various funding agencies such as Federal, State, and local governments as well as faith-based funding agencies. Successes with United Way, HUD as well as corporate and family foundations would be a plus.
Local candidates only, no relocation
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited education institution is required and as well as the American Grant Writer’s Association (AGWA) or Grant Professionals Association (GPA) is preferred, minimum of five (5) years’ experience is necessary. Experience in online grant software is a plus.
