YWCA Evanston/North Shore is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated clinical services manager, with significant experience in serving trauma survivors, to oversee the daily operations of our domestic violence clinical services program. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep commitment to creating a warm, welcoming, and trauma-informed space for participants and staff. The Clinical Services Manager is a motivated self-starter who embraces the opportunity to build innovative, best-practice, programming, and acts as a catalyst for change, and will influence others to translate vision into action.
Staff Supervision – Hire, train, and encourage a team of deeply committed clinical and support professionals and foster a supportive, trauma-informed environment that enables staff to perform in alignment with our trauma-informed principles.
Clinical Service Delivery – Oversee the development and implementation of all clinical and case management services for residential and community based clients who seek freedom from abuse including but not limited to ensuring a highly functioning case management review process, the coordination and delivery of highly engaging voluntary services, trauma-informed counseling services, consistent case management practices, and the management of our 24-hour crisis line. The clinical services manager will carry a minimal case load as needed.
Residential Management – Ensure an optimal living environment is provided to emergency and longer term residential clients including but not limited to implementing appropriate systems to maintain a healthy, positive, and safe living environment for all residents and staff.
Quality Assurance and Administrative Management – Oversee compliance with maintaining proper client documentation and reporting and play a lead role in developing and implementing quality assurance and impact evaluation systems.
Outreach & Education – Represent the organization at meetings and community events and assist in developing targeted outreach to increase community usage of clinical services.
Education/Experience: Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
A minimum of 7 years providing comprehensive clinical services to survivors of trauma, including survivors of domestic violence. Significant supervisory and management experience is required. Knowledge of residential shelter programs a plus but not required.
Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of trauma and best practice trauma-informed clinical frameworks.
Skills: Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to handle crisis situations, possess the ability to problem solve and provide conflict resolution when needed. Able to create a culturally competent and sensitive work environment for staff and clients.

Certificates and Licenses
40 hour domestic violence training, clinical licensure (i.e. LCSW/LCPC/LMFT) required. Must be willing to take and pass the ICDVP exam.

Occasional nights or weekends required for events or professional development. Successful completion of background checks. Must be 21 years old. Some local and statewide travel required. Valid driver’s license, insurance required, and reliable access to personal transportation required.
