We are currently conducting a search for a Manager/Director of Child Care Operations. This is a premier child care organization operating in the Chicagoland area. This important role will be responsible for the overall administration and management of a child care center in the at risk communities with Infant Toddler students. You will be responsible for high quality early learning delivery; health and safety of children; compliances of all DCFS, DFSS, CPS, ExceleRate Illinois and our organization’s standards; productive/effective relationships with parents and families; timely accurate enrollment and marketing; student recruitment with staff resources; facility/office/classroom management; record keeping; timely submission of accurate reports; staff supervision and professional development; covering classrooms as needed.
This role requires a strong leader who is talented at leading and motivating people. To be successful, you will need to be responsible, dependable, passionate about working with children and families, resourceful, flexible, creative, equipped with a strategic thinking and results orientation, as well as open to suggestions, new ideas and different approaches. We require 3- 5 years of child care experience managing the operations of a child care center. We also require Gateways Infant-Toddler Level 5 or equivalent Erickson Institute I-T credential, Gateways ECE Level 5, Illinois Director Level 3 with a Master’s degree.
