Position Summary & Essential Functions – The Care Center Site Manager will support the Cure SMA Clinical Care Centers as they integrate with the Cure SMA Clinical Data Registry (CDR), and work toward Cure SMA accreditation goals.
Cure SMA is seeking a Clinical Care Center Site Manager who will actively engage with and support Cure SMA Clinical Care Centers. The Care Center Site Manager will work with each site as the site integrates the Cure SMA Clinical Data Registry (CDR) with the site’s Electronic Health Record (EHR). The Site Manager will engage with the CDR developer.. S/he will be the point of contact for the centers to Cure SMA, building relationships with clinical leadership at the centers. Each site manager may manage up to 10 sites.
Reporting to the Clinical Care Operations Director, the Center Site Manager will work closely with the Clinical Care team to develop implementation strategies, increase patient enrollment, train clinical staff on documentation templates, and facilitate the center’s accreditation process. The Clinical Care Center Site Manager will be available by phone or in person to the Cure SMA Clinical Care Centers for questions regarding the CDR, clinical team engagement, and problem solving.

Essential Function/Responsibility with associated competencies
1. Other Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as relationship manager for care center team – organizing calls, visits, training, and other support needed
With the CDR administrator, ensure care center documentation templates are implemented correctly into the centers’ EMR systems
Train clinicians to use the registry – completing the documentation templates, registering new patients, correcting erroneous data, etc.
Support the centers’ efforts to enroll patients into the registry, implementing strategies developed by Cure SMA staff
Facilitate Cure SMA site visits to care centers for accreditation
Collaborate with the Events and Family Support department to ensure families who connect with our care centers connect with Cure SMA
Write and edit proposals, reports, correspondence, and other documents for internal and external audiences.
Work and communicate with a wide range of internal and external constituents
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience required.
Work experience in a healthcare setting required.
Familiarity with clinical data registries preferred, but not required.
Demonstrated success in program implementation and relationship-building.
Able to prioritize, schedule, and monitor multiple projects.
Able to establish strong collaborative relationships and work with others in a cooperative and effective manner.
Able to strategically work cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable giving oral presentations and teaching in various settings
Previous experience with electronic medical records strongly desired
Familiarity with CDRs desired, but not required.
Experience with web maintenance desired,
Technical proficiency in with the complete Microsoft Office suite required.
