We are looking for a skilled part-time Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. The Bookkeeper’s duties include working closely with the Director of Finance, to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of CHI.
Five years of experience working in accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks
Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
Detail oriented and self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Resourceful, flexible and able to creatively problem-solve
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Able to communicate and work effectively across all levels of an organization
