Ray Graham's Iona Glos Specialized Living Center in Addison, IL is a 100 bed ICFDD/ID facility that provides residential services to people with Developmental/Intellectual disabilities. We are seeking qualified, experienced, Illinois Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN).
Description of Responsibilities:
Provides health services to individuals with disabilities.
Monitor and report vital signs to the DON and physicians
Assess individuals post incident.
Order, transcribe, review, monitor and discontinue medication as ordered by physician.
Ensure that monthly Medication Administration Records(MARs) are in each individuals record and are free of errors.
Facilitates their safety and wellbeing and lead to personal outcomes.
Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
The Nurse is expected to uphold the Mission & Values of the Association.
A Licensed Practical Nurse with one year experience in nursing.
Must be able to meet the HealthCare Worker Background Check requirements.
Must be able to lift and transfer individuals using proper body mechanics (75 lbs.).
Able to bend, stoop, push, pull, sit, and walk for periods of time.
Positive and up-beat personality is a must.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must pass a Pre-employment drug screen.
