We are currently in search of a Program Manager for a Faith Based, Social Services Organization. The position is based in Chicago, IL. This is a permanent, full-time position.

SALARY: $50,000 - $53,000

The Program Manager will support and implement the policy and philosophy of the program. They will ensure that the therapeutic social environment is actively managed, and the Youth are receiving appropriate therapy. They will lead a staff to supervise the program environment and all related issues. This role will participate in all supervisory meetings regarding the program, and participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating program employees. They will also develop and supervise budget expenditures for the program, based on the approved budget.

Our Ideal Candidate:
3-5 years of experience in management with Youth/Family Services or Housing required
Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology required
Must have a valid Illinois Driver’s License with a clear Driving Record required
Be able to work at least two nights out of the week. (1pm-9pm; Monday and Thursday) required
Proficient with Microsoft Office
High energy and genuine
Can actively lead a team, delegate, and prioritize
Able to maintain maturity and sensitivity to cultural and individual differences
How You Will Spend Your Day:
Overseeing the everyday operations of the facility including the staff on hand; use of the space; and the safety of the program participants
Leading a team of Youth Care Workers, Therapists, and other staff
Preparing and implementing an annual budget
Ensuring education, employment and treatment goals are managed for each youth
Facilitating weekly team meetings and retreats
Preparing in-home visits when necessary
Employing all aspects of de-escalation and behavior management techniques
Supervising all Program Communication, i.e.- log entries, incident reports, phone and written communication to supervisors, and to external organizations
Assessing Youth’s placement and duration of stay within the program
Additional duties as assigned
