Aspire Kids is seeking a Full-time Pediatric Physical Therapist for our Hillside location. This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with an exceptional physical therapy and multidisciplinary team in a family-centered model while providing evaluations and therapy for infants, toddlers, and children with developmental delays and disabilities. Knowledge of typical and atypical development, assessment, and intervention strategies specific to these age groups as well as the ability to work well with families and team members is required.
Conduct evaluations/assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy for children, as assigned.
Write comprehensive evaluation/assessment reports, progress summaries, and daily progress notes for children, as assigned.
Complete billing and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Integrate parents, family members, and key caregivers into all aspects of the provision of services.
Provide parent/caregiver education for optimal follow through on therapeutic activities.
Maintain communication with team members, parents, caregivers, physicians, outside agencies, and others regarding program/treatment changes, children’s needs and progress.
Provide in-service trainings for parents, caregivers, and staff regarding current research and trends in physical therapy, as requested or desired.
Assist staff with outreach development and community education projects, as requested.
Work cooperatively with Child and Family Connections offices.
Ensure that authorizations for services are received and accurate prior to the initiation of services.
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
MS or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Illinois.
Extensive knowledge of evaluation, assessment, and treatment of children.
