Supports the three major components of the Behavioral Health Division. The medical office receptionist is responsible for greeting participants, checking participants in for appointments, answering telephones and providing general information to the public. They are responsible for gathering insurance information, recording information changes from participants and directing them to the appropriate staff and/ or waiting area. Medical office receptionists handles outgoing and incoming mail and may be responsible for sorting mail, filing and performing basic clerical duties which include but are not limited to receiving and recording participant payments, admitting participants into electronic health databases, and processing claims.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bilingual (English/ Spanish) required.
