ongoing proactive assessment of potential issues which could adversely impact operations; taking the lead to provide status updates and workarounds to the user base when unexpected problems occur; and
working cooperatively with vendors to help isolate and resolve any problems in a manner which helps to minimize any adverse impact.
As inevitable platform changes occur, the GTM will be the primary communicator to the user base of the schedules for and anticipated impact of upcoming changes.
The GTM oversees all aspects of the online grant application process, clears grant payments, processes grant reports using the database, produces new reports as requested by staff, and provides training and assistance to all GIFTS users.
The GTM serves as the liaison to the Foundation’s equipment and technology vendors. In that role, the GTM provides initial assessment of issues with hardware and software systems and other office equipment, and suggests strategies to address these issues. The GTM performs routine backups of the server and assures that information is stored securely offsite or delegates temporary responsibility.
Other duties include creating and uploading online surveys, grant forms, and reports. The GTM provides training and technical support to Board and staff members on the use of iPads.
The Grants and Technology Manager will have five to seven years of relevant experience.
