The Data Systems Associate administers SIDM’s databases and research protocols in support of program goals. The Data Systems Associate provides analysis and research support.
Data Systems Management and Analysis (approximately 65% of the position)
Configure and manage organization’s CRM and other data systems
Collect, analyze, and synthesize data
Advise project leads and executive staff on database, research and IT needs
Developing (with SIDM senior leadership), analyzing, and reporting performance metrics
Project Support (approximately 30% of the position)
Develop and implement surveys and other data collection/analysis tools
Provide research assistance for SIDM programs and grant development
Create data visualizations for presentation to a variety of audiences
Conduct data and research support for SIDMs communication, policy and advocacy efforts, including the Coalition to Improve Diagnosis and Campaign activities.
Other (approximately 5% of the position)
Actively participate in required conferences and staff meetings
Protect SIDM’s value by keeping information confidential
Update knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining networks; participating in professional organizations.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Chicago-area (preferred). Virtual office at this time, change to flexible in- and virtual office days in the future. Occasional work on evenings and weekends as needed

Bachelor's degree in statistics or related field. Master’s preferred
Job experience requirements
Exceptional statistical analysis skills.
Fluency with Microsoft Office. Graphic ability is a plus
Experience using Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) systems, familiarity with Neon is a plus
Ability and maturity to make presentations to organizational leadership and external parties
Specific skill sets

Attention to detail and the ability to work individually and proactively, within a multi-disciplinary team, as well as with external partners and vendors

Salary range for this position is $40,000-$46,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
