Warrenville Youth & Family Services (WYFS)
WYFS is a multi-purpose community service agency serving the residents in the Warrenville area. Programs include the Community Counseling Center, Case Management Assistance, Mentoring and Quest - an after-school/summer-school program for middle school aged youth.
The Program Assistant will work alongside program staff to support clients and the WYFS community through program and administrative support activities. Responsibilities include: managing office administration (tracking expenses, ordering supplies, managing basic building maintenance, managing inter-office mail delivery, organizing files, etc.), assisting clinical clients, providing linkage to community resources, supporting case management clients when case manager is unavailable; supervising and transporting students in the after-school program as needed; handling logistics for community events and managing special projects for the WYFS Director. The Program Assistant will also act as the receptionist when the WYFS Receptionist is not present. This position reports to the WYFS Director.
BA/BS. A relational style, flexible and self-motivated. Strong organizational ability. Proficiency in MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ Outlook. Ability to multi-task and take responsibility for a variety of projects. Sensitivity to the needs of a low-income and diverse population. A commitment to OCM’s Statement of Christian Mission and Faith. Valid IL Driver’s License, good driving record, proof of insurance and reliable transportation. Spanish language skills required.
Part-time. 25 hours/ week. M-Th, 12:30pm to 6:30pm, with Friday hours as needed. Occasional morning or weekend hours are required for special events to be scheduled in advance.
Compensation for this position falls between $15.50 and $17 per hour based on education, skills, language ability and experience.
