The Donor Relations Manager will cultivate, steward, and expand relationships between the organization and its donors by developing and implementing engagement and fundraising strategies. The primary focus of this position is to grow revenue through donations and sponsorships received from beneficial corporate and individual donors to support the organization’s annual operating campaign.
Works closely with CEO, Board of Directors and Development and Communications Manager to create and implement stewardship strategies to engage corporate and individual donors. Including but not limited to establishing financial goals for the organization’s fundraising activities; identifying and cultivating potential individual and corporate donors; and planning and executing special events.
Keeps Accurate Records using Bloomerang by creating and maintaining foundation, corporate, and individual donor files; processing donations and preparing acknowledgment letters in a timely matter; and creating fundraising and database reports to analyze donors’ giving patterns and create target lists for engaging donors.
Works closely with Development and Communications Manager to produce inspiring donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship-related documents, including but not limited to quarterly e-newsletters, bi-annual appeal letters, funding proposals, presentations, and donor impact reports.
Project manages fundraising events by overseeing goals, budgets, timelines and internal and external resources to ensure maximum results with lowest possible cost. Establishes roles and responsibilities for the agency team working at the event; and measures, analyzes, and reports event progress and results.
Assists in year-round identification and solicitation of prospects for fundraising event sponsorship, in-kind goods or services, and outright contributions in order to maximize net proceeds and meet annual revenue goals.
Strategically secures funds outside of annual operating campaign through corporate sponsorships, events, and projects for community impact initiatives.
Discovers donor companies’ corporate social responsibility and/or workplace giving objectives, identifies opportunities that aligns with our agency’s goals and works with staff to create engagement initiatives and opportunities.
Attends internal and external meetings, mental health fairs and community meetings as required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills that are effective with a diverse range of audiences including board members, internal staff, volunteers, donors, executives, and potential funding partners.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Bloomerang.
Reports to and supervised by: Chief Executive Officer
Status: Full-time, 40 hours a week, non-exempt
Requirements: A minimum of 3 or more years of fundraising experience is required. Must be willing to work some evenings, weekends and flexible hours.
Education requirements: Bachelor’s degree.
