The Family-Based Services program at Hephzibah Children's Association offers a wide range of case management, support and intervention services to families. The Social Worker provides services to foster children and their families. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, family assessments, planning and implementing recommended services, preparing written reports and service plans and testifying in Juvenile Court.
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
Child Welfare Licensure preferred
Experience in a child welfare agency preferred.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred
Must have a valid IL Driver’s License and good driving record to conduct activities in various communities
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be available for emergencies
Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client population.
