Cara has been growing steadily and is now seeking to accelerate growth and expand nationally. We are looking for a mission-focused, strategic, and results-oriented leader with experience in training and the operations of a nonprofit organization. The Implementation Manager must be an independent leader who is able to help Cara deliver measurable, cost-effective results that make the replication vision a reality. Importantly, the successful candidate will have the skills, sensitivity, and drive assist in the execution of Cara’s national expansion plans. With the Managing Director of Expansion and the Expansion Strategy Manager, the Implementation Manager will develop the training and best practices for our national expansion efforts.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Managing Director of Expansion, the Implementation Manager will execute the implementation of Cara programming at new expansion sites, while acting as the ongoing liaison to harmonize the long-term needs of each organization.
The Implementation Manager will also have the following responsibilities:
Working in partnership with the Expansion team to create the strategic plan for program replication and expansion, while implementing the new processes and approaches to achieve it
Operates as overall implementation lead for understanding and training the Cara method at new expansion sites to ensure both a high-level and detailed understanding of the new programming
Codifies and helps to develop the curricula that are associated with the Cara method, which are both programmatic and operational in nature
Coordinates the specifics of training with the partner affiliates, as well as other Cara departments to ensure a well-rounded program that meets the standards of the Cara brand
Brokers relationships with implementing partner affiliates to ensure a balance of the Cara method with local expertise by quickly attaining an in-depth of knowledge of each organization’s methodologies
Spends majority of time on-site at the implementing partner affiliates to facilitate ongoing communication and assist with unpredicted challenges
Provides technical assistance for partner affiliates and escalate their needs to Cara accordingly as the primary liaison for ongoing partners
Reports best practices and ensures data collection in conjunction with the Quality and Standards Manager by conducting thorough analyses of affiliates’ programming
As a prerequisite, the successful candidate must believe in the core values of Cara and be driven by the mission. The candidate should demonstrate a passion for breaking new ground to lead social change. Beyond that, we are seeking a candidate that has proven experience in training and project management.
The successful candidate will have conducted training efforts for a for-profit or a not-for-profit organization in the past, with both project and people management experience.

Solid educational background—undergraduate degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree is desired
