The development associate is a critical member of AMIT’s Midwest region development team who works with the Midwest regional director to achieve annual fundraising and strategic goals.
The development associate will be primarily responsible for recruiting new AMIT donors under the age of 50/young professionals from all denominations of Judaism, around the Chicago area.
The development associate must have a strong customer service orientation and previous fundraising experience.
Well-developed organizational and computer skills are required.
Part-time position averaging 8-12 hours per week. More hours may be required 2-3 times per year when an event is being planned.
Flexible schedule. Some work may be done from home, when possible.
Office is in Skokie, IL.
Experience working directly with donors.
Professional event planning experience.
Experience with data analysis and reporting. Prior database experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
