Gads Hill Center, a social service organization established in 1898, creates opportunities for children and their families to build a better life through education, access to resources and community engagement.
Gads Hill Center seeks a Program Recruitment Specialist to develop and implement an agency wide recruitment strategy. This individual, in coordination with program staff, will work to increase enrollment across all programs. The Recruitment Specialist will develop relationships with stakeholders within all of Gads Hill Center’s service areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing and Recruitment
Develops an outreach and recruitment strategy in partnership program staff to ensure that all programs operate at full capacity.
Works in coordination with the Development and program staff to create and maintain marketing materials for programs.
Develops substantive knowledge of the quality and social impact of Gads Hill Center’s programs.
Represents and promotes the agency at a variety of events.
Develops relationships with community stakeholders including clinics, churches, other non-profits, and schools.
Develops strategies to recruit volunteers.
Collects and manages data on outreach, recruitment activities, and events to track effectiveness, and prepares reports providing analysis on the outcomes.
Establishes networks in the workforce development field that increase referrals from families
Ensures all programs have an active wait list.
Launches four community recruitment events annually.
Staff Training and Coordination
Conducts ongoing training on outreach and recruitment for staff and parent ambassadors.
Leads Outreach and Recruitment Committee to develop and implement an annual recruitment plan.
Organize agency outreach and recruitment opportunities, securing visibility and participation in community.
Provides guidance and supervision to temporary staff and volunteers assigned to support recruitment activities.
Participates in civic engagement activities that advance the mission of Gads Hill Center.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably with an emphasis in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
Demonstrated record of strong sales skills and strong follow up skills
At least two years in a position in Sales or Marketing is required.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and be willing to travel locally.
Experience with multi-cultural programming Bi-lingual strongly preferred
Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills.
Ability to pass a criminal record and child abuse/neglect registry check.
