NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR’S
PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the Department of Homeland Security. This Notice of Filing will be posted for 10 (ten) consecutive business days (M-F), ending between 30 and 180 days before filing the permanent labor certification application.
POSITION TITLE: Team Leader
POSITION DUTIES: Assume leadership role within programs assigned team and in the daily monitoring of implementation evidence based practices. Model evidence-based practices and recovery to ensure team adherence and understanding to fidelity scales. Ensure that 60% of services are provided in the member’s natural setting. Gather member information and assess the need for service, make recommendations for treatment, identify and investigate natural resources and supports, explain options available to the member and assist in the application process. Lead and oversee activities of team staff members providing outreach, case management, social, vocational, education, physical well-being, and residential services and programming and other services and supports proved by the treatment team. Meet required productivity targets and completes all documentation within assigned time frames. Monitor member attendance and/or occupancy on the team so that case assignments, transitions and closures are handled effectively and efficiently.
Review all required documentation. Maintain the quality, validity and confidentiality of individual case records according to CARF, Medicare, Medicaid standards and agency traditions. Assure that all assigned documentation is completed accurately, on time and is organized in a systematic manner. Assist with special tasks as assigned, including, but not limited to, representing the agency at meetings, conferences, supervising interns/students, orienting and training new staff. Conduct annual evaluations in a timely manner for all team staff. Develop specific goals and objectives and provide the method and opportunity for each team staff to succeed in their professional development. Participate in hiring sequence of the agency and make recommendations on the firing or termination of team staff. Follow agency standards regarding clinical supervision. Assist program director with the development and coaching of staff to ensure they consistently meet agency standards. Run brainstorm sessions to develop interventions as a team. Provide weekly Clinical Supervision and monthly clinical training to clinical staff. Monitor the progress of reaching clients’ goal by implementing evidence-based treatment. Monitor staffs’ productivity and evaluated their performance. Generate daily schedule/caseload and organizing team functioning. Review and approve treatment plan and mental health assessment. Lead assigned teams. Monitor daily implementation of best practices. Gather members’ information and assess service needs, makes recommendations for treatment. Lead, coach, and oversee the activities of treatment team staff. Assure all documentation is complete and accurate. Participate in hiring, sequence of agency and employee professional development. Participate in emergency plans. Works flexible schedule including weekends or evenings and may be required to be on call.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology, or closely related field, and 12 months of experience as a Community Support Specialist. Must meet Office of Mental Health Rule 132 credential requirements for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMPH). Requires 1 year of Clinical Experience and a current and valid Driver’s License.
RATE OF PAY: $43,138-51,770/year
