Erie Family Health Center is looking for a strategic, focused and responsible leader like you to join our Development Team! The Development Services and Events Manager leads the planning and implementation of Erie Family Health Centers’ fundraising events, oversees donor data management and is responsible for managing a full-time staff member who assists with these functions. This role serves as a valuable resource for the Development team by supporting prospect research and helping fundraisers strategically leverage data to segment appeals, track fundraising progress and outcomes and achieve goals.
Work to design a strategic events program that offers multiple, sustained opportunities for sponsor involvement and volunteer leadership throughout the year.
Conceptualize, plan and direct the operational and fundraising aspects of Erie’s Annual Luncheon, our Auxiliary Council event Eriedescence, and as any other events that may be developed to raise financial support for Erie.
Develop and monitor budgets for special events including forecasting income and expenses and evaluating the cost-effectiveness of events.
Solicit and obtain proposals for contracts relating to events and recommend selection based upon costs and services.
Develop processes and systems to build and leverage data as a strategic resource for Erie’s fundraising program.
Support the fundraising team with prospect research, including obtaining donor background through Forefront and other resources and preparing prospect profiles.
Participate as an active member of the Development and Communications team and take on special projects, as needed, to advance fundraising priorities.
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 3-5 years of previous fundraising experience
Experience working with Raiser’s Edge database is a plus
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a process-orientation.
Ability to develop and implement strategic and operational plans and budgets.
Adept at building relationships; solid interpersonal skills
