Children’s Home & Aid’s Family Support Programs provide early intervention aimed at supporting early and strong parent-child attachment and maternal and infant health. We are seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee the team of Family Support Specialists who provide services to young mothers in Champaign and surrounding counties. The Family Support Services Supervisor also engages in community outreach to promote awareness of supportive services available to local families.
Program Supervisor responsibilities include:
Hire, supervise, and evaluate program staff.
Oversee administrative case issues, fiscal control, and implementation of program plans.
Provide individual case consultation and reflective supervision to staff.
Provide consultation to staff regarding crisis issues after hours through on-call rotation.
Ensure program compliance with requirements of licensure and accrediting bodies.
Complete program reporting.
Attend community collaboration meetings and other events to promote awareness of services.
Develop methods to enhance the quality of services.
Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field required.
Two years' related experience working with families with young children required.
Supervisory or program administration experience strongly preferred; experience with reflective supervision preferred.
Knowledge of infant mental health and trauma-informed practice required.
Experience working with prenatal health systems a plus.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes some evening hours.
Must be available to participate in an on-call rotation to respond to staff by phone outside of business hours.
