Collaborate with the Executive Director regarding new program designs and implementation
Assist the Executive Director in development of operating budgets and financial plans to support all program requirements
Designing and interpreting needs assessment instruments for program development. Preparing community needs assessment and community action plan. Work with the Executive Director to design and implement WCCCC’s strategic plan.
Define scope, goals, and deliverables that support goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
Liaise with program stakeholders (e.g., funding sources, executive management, and senior program management and team members) on an ongoing basis
Become ROMA certified to provide training and guidance to staff. Provide ongoing communication and technical assistance to management staff.
Work with WCCCC management team to develop WCCCC’s annual report detailing program performance and outcomes. Develop other reports as needed
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Oversee grantee monitoring to ensure compliance with statutory, program and contractual requirements. Provide training and technical assistance, conduct on-site reviews at sub-grantee agencies
Oversee COC management staff. Work with program manager in all aspects of the ranking process, collaborative application process and working with community partners in developing policies and procedures
Oversee housing department management staff. Work with program manager in implementing housing counseling activities including fair housing
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 7 years NFP experience with 3 years supervisory experience
Impeccable communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once
Demonstrate initiative and make decisions in the best interests of the organization
Computer skills including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet and social media
Understanding of ability to work effectively with diverse populations, as well as community leaders, board members, staff and volunteers
Valid IL Driver’s License/Insurance
Ability to travel as necessary
Experience with strategic planning.
Plan, analyze and evaluate program services
