Helps to operationalize the work of the People & Culture department by owning an area of daily operations and supporting the execution of key projects.
Essential Job Duties
Assist people & culture team with various day to day operations and special projects.
Schedule meetings/conferences by reserving facilities and setting up.
Partner with other Ounce departments to conduct internal/external audits such as Early/Head Start grantee compliance and internal ADP audits.
Create and maintain employee files (current and terminated) ensuring they contain pertinent documentation in accordance with established confidentiality guidelines and practices.
Responsible for overall management of information flow relevant to employee change processing and record keeping.
Responsible for staff engagement activities and initiatives such as monthly celebrations, annual celebrations, monthly orientation, employee surveys, and our staff recognition program.
Assist new employees in filling out and completing all required documents.
Serve as liaison with employment agencies and coordinate site requests for temporary hires to ensure proper placement and proper requisition information is entered into centralized purchasing system.
Screen applicants as needed and administer computer and other skills testing to appropriate applicants.
Maintain applicant-tracking tools, reports, and resume bank.
Assist in the organizing and managing of site based employment records to ensure the records are current and accurate, by working with and training designated site staff.
Design, develop, and maintain updates to Inside Ounce (company intranet).
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Required Qualifications – Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. (Additional requirements may be designated by position.)
BA degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
One to three years of experience in human resources.
