The Coordinator of Management Information Systems is directly responsible to the Vice President of Operations and indirectly to the Chief Executive Officer.
The Coordinator of Managment Information Systems performs all functions relating to information technology, including, but not limited to, computer operations, user support, network administration, and systems analysis. The Coordinator of Management Information Systems establishes technical operating standards, methods, and priorities and consults with management to analyze computer system needs.
Daily: Oversee network operations. Ensure that daily backups are completed. Respond to all user support questions.
Weekly: Ensure that weekly backups are completed. Review and approve management information systems invoices. Submit expense report as needed.
Monthly: Prepare a report of departmental activities for the board of directors.
As needed: Develop and implement long-range plans for information technology, including strategic systems planning and design (system architecture, evaluating new systems, assuring functionality of systems.) Oversee the procurement of information technology equipment and supplies. Oversee hardware and software maintenance.
Oversee website development and maintenance. Prepare annual IT budget with Vice President of Operations.
Bachelor's degree in business or computer and/or necessary industry certifications and five years or more of prior experience in this or a similar position.
