We are now hiring for a full-time Human Resources Training Manager to join our GO Team!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assess training needs across the Agency and or by Site or Department; conduct training needs assessments.
Propose training and development programs and objectives. Coordinate training programs with external resources when needed.
Develop, implement and deliver training programs for varying levels of staff Agency wide.
Obtain and /or develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
Train and coach managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
Plan, organize, facilitate and order supplies for employee development and training events. Coordinate or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
Coordinate and facilitate New Employee Orientation. Provide employees with a comprehensive, up to date, and welcoming orientation.
Develop and maintain organizational communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results. Modify programs as needed.
Develop and maintain education support materials to be used for reference once training has been completed.
Continually evaluate training progress and training procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed.
Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
Work effectively as a team member with the HR staff.
Document procedures for the training function of HR.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant field required.
5-7 years of experience in training and development required.
Comprehensive knowledge of training plan, curriculum, design and development.
Knowledge of implementation and facilitation of technical, operational, and/or specialty training events and programs.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), teaching and facilitation skills.
Ability to assess training needs and objectives.
Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate responsive programs and initiatives including training plans, curricula, and methodology.
Strong interpersonal with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and time management skills with high attention to detail.
Must have excellent follow through in completing tasks.
Must be self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency. Ability to work independently with little direction.
Ability to grasp a large amount of information quickly and transform complex concepts into easily understood training materials to ensure understanding and competency.
Must have access to own vehicle for travel to all Agency sites.
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
