The Digital Fundraising Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a digital fundraising strategy across multiple platforms that engages new and existing email subscribers, converts prospects and retains donors to increase channel revenue for the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Direct Marketing and working closely with Marketing team members, included but not limited to social media and corporate partnership to support online fundraising appeals through various digital channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Contribute to the Development and implementation of long and short-term digital fundraising strategy
Support the Senior Director, Direct Marketing with analytics and project management around implementation of digital fundraising initiatives
Work collaboratively with other members of the Digital Marketing team, to engage and build email list to build strong relationships with donors and promote campaigns.
Create and manage digital fundraising calendar/schedule across platforms (email, social, SMS, etc.)
Lead execution of all National Office digital fundraising efforts
Work collaboratively with Marketing, Communications and Development team members, to ensure implementation of key touchpoints across digital fundraising procedures and ensure those standards are followed organization-wide so that online and digital facing constituents receive a tailored and structured set of digital giving opportunities and services.
Manage the messaging calendar, automated email messages, audience logic and other business rules, stationaries and software agreements
Develop the annual email channel plans for fundraising and engagement in collaboration with the marketing and communications team and agency partners to engage subscribers, convert prospects and retain donors
Manage day-to-day execution of the email fundraising program, including campaigns and other strategic channel initiatives to improve program performance through customization, automation and optimization
Provide strategic direction to agency partners during briefing process
Review deliverables, route for internal feedback, provide consolidated and constructive feedback
Manage project timelines for the internal team and external partners
Oversee campaign set-up for successful deployment
Collaborate with Agency Partner on targeted paid media program to cultivate existing supporters.
Partner with Direct Mail team and agency partners on integrated cross-channel fundraising strategies and programs to foster high-value monthly donors and mid-level donors.
Communicate online business needs and technical requirements to execute online engagement and fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
Oversee the measurement plan for the email channel, including reporting templates and reporting cadence
Monitor key performance indicators and evolve channel strategy to meet program goals and improve channel performance
Stay up-to-date on and oversee email deliverability needs and manage audience segmentation and file hygiene to optimize file health and performance
Manage mobile fundraising strategy and vendor relationship alongside the Digital Marketing team
Oversee the development of annual budget forecasts and work plans for digital fundraising channel
Collaborate with Website Marketing Manager to ensure email sign-up and giving opportunities are optimized on Easterseals’ owned digital properties

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Proven record of developing and advancing successful digital fundraising campaigns to include new donor acquisition and cultivation, donor retention, sustainer/monthly donor and mid-level donor strategies with primary goal of donation.
A strong working knowledge of testing best practices as well as the ability to interpret test results and apply learnings.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems, meet tight deadlines, multi-task and manage resources effectively.
Experience with complex data sets, knowledge of CRM technology and data integration desired
Excellent writing, editing and communications skills required.
Excellent skills in organizing and creating web content, applying principals of web-based communications and knowledge of digital giving trends and technologies
Familiarity with HTML and/or other web languages required
Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across different internal departments and external vendors
Ability to work independently, setting priorities and objectives with minimal supervision
Must work amiably under pressure, and utilize independent judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
