Development Services and Analytics Specialist - Full-Time Regular

Development Services and Analytics Specialist will be a key strategic member of the development team and work closely with the Director of Institutional Advancement (IA).
This position will provide guidance to members of the IA department on the topic of maintaining data integrity and architecture, and will partner with the gift processor to ensure accurate and timely management of all gifts made to CHM. Key focus will be on applying data mining techniques and conducting statistical analyses to identify opportunities to increase annual income and maximize solicitation strategies.
Oversee the architecture and data integrity of the development office’s data stored in Raiser’s Edge
Develop and execute reports, dashboards, and visualizations that enable data-driven decision making with the development team
Develop reporting for executive management and members of the Board of Trustees that highlight high-level opportunities and challenges for the development program
Ensure staff have the proper information and data to support meaningful donor relationships and moves management
Responsible for the day-to-day management and accuracy of the Raiser’s Edge member/donor database. Maximize use of this database to enhance administrative functionality and efficiency.
Monitor and maintain system integration with Blackbaud Patron Edge, SRO4, and Financial Edge systems, working with IT staff as needed.
Oversee the timely processing of donor acknowledgement letters and membership fulfillment.
Construct detailed queries, mail merge documents, and data retrievals for direct mail programs, reporting, and analysis.
Manage research requests from development team members and CHM leadership and create donor profiles (individuals, corporations, and foundations)

Bachelor’s degree required and a 3-5 years of experience within a development office
Experience in statistics, analysis, research, and portfolio management within a non-profit organizatioare highly preferred
Experience with database/CRM Management; Blackbaud Raiser’s
Edge and SRO4 preferred. Blackbaud certification a plus.
Excellent communication (verbal/written) and time management skills are required
Ability to translate complex concepts to those with differing aptitude
Experience with data visualization tools and quantitative analytics skills
Occasional evening, early morning or weekend work may be required
