To serve as the initial point of contact for families referred to Aspire Kids’ therapy program; to coordinate and complete intake/scheduling functions for all new and current clients.
Receive and process therapy referrals for individual and group services within 24 hours of initial inquiry.
Coordinate intake process in collaboration with Billing and Insurance Coordinator and Medical Records Clerk to ensure new clients are scheduled for therapy services within one week of initial inquiry.
Manage cancellations and rescheduling of all therapy appointments.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with referral sources through regular communication and marketing efforts.
Secure documentation necessary for auditing; execute Early Intervention and Proviso Township audits.
Provide families resources or referrals, as appropriate.
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor’s Degree in social service or related field.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Communicate respectfully about sensitive information with families and maintain appropriate boundaries.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from families, employees, and the general public.
Good knowledge of PC operations and software (word processing, database, and spreadsheets).
Experience using Raintree Systems, Inc. or other electronic medical record preferred, but not required.
Some knowledge of the methods and practices of sound records management; ability to prepare and maintain records.
Knowledge of Illinois’ Early Intervention program highly preferred, but not required.
