Administrative Support, Database Management, Medical & Health
To support the Intake Coordinator and Billing and Insurance Coordinator by creating and maintaining electronic medical records for new and current clients; to ensure accurate and timely data entry maximizing scheduling efficiencies and billing and collections.
Create and maintain patient charts using Raintree Systems, Inc. (electronic medical record).
Enter patient data including: patient demographics, payor information, Early Intervention authorizations, and prescriptions.
Scan and enter all necessary documentation including: intake paperwork, consent forms, and outside medical and therapy reports.
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree or higher, preferred.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of PC operations and software (word processing, database, and spreadsheets).
Experience using Raintree Systems, Inc. or other electronic medical record preferred, but not required.
Some knowledge of the methods and practices of sound records management; ability to prepare and maintain records adhering to HIPAA privacy standards.

Duties are performed primarily in the agency office. Work areas are restricted to non-smoking.
