The Theraplay Institute in Evanston, Illinois, is looking to hire a part-time (16 hours) Clinic Manager to run our small but thriving clinic. The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing our child and family clinic operations and policies under the direction of the Program Director.
The Theraplay® Institute is the headquarters of Theraplay, a psychotherapy practiced worldwide to help children and families with attachment disorders, developmental delays, and behavioral problems. The primary mission of The Theraplay Institute is to train mental health professionals in the Theraplay method. Monitor volume of referrals and balance with number of therapists/evaluate if need to hire or waitlist
Oversee and update clinical policies
Hire, train and supervise new therapists
Intake and assigning clients to therapists
Monitor required paperwork for insurance and therapist files-liability, licensure, CAQH
In coordination with accounting department and individual clinicians, assess/problem-solve payment problems with clients
Maintain HIPAA compliance-group sup, business associate agreement
Create and maintain systems for good sanitation of treatment rooms
Monitor and order therapy supplies including technology for video storage
Troubleshoot technology related to clinical video storage
Create agendas for and schedule clinical staff meetings and supervision group
Handle other issues related to our clinic as needed
Keep monthly stats on client caseloads
Coordinate clinic outcomes
Answering referrals for out-of-state therapist inquiries
Carry a small client caseload (optional)
Qualifications: Master’s degree in a mental health field and a current Illinois license (LSW/LCSW, LPC/LCPC, LMFT) + 2 years post-graduate experience. Attendee of Level One Theraplay training preferred.
Additional Salary Information: This position includes numerous professional benefits such as attending state-of-the-art clinical training and supervision. Optional: In addition to 16 manager hours, a qualified clinician could carry a caseload of therapy clients through the Theraplay clinic and receive free supervision towards completing Theraplay certification. The practicum process normally costs over $4,000.
