The Site Coordinator-Administrator oversees the day to day operations and all aspects of patient care within the designated clinic, this position has first line responsibility for clinical supervision, patient care, personnel management, budgeting, and quality service delivery for the assigned area.
Administrative responsibilities include overseeing and directing center operations and maintaining statistical information and completion of Illinois State Grant requirement in the program. In this role, this individual, under the direction of the lead physician and Regional Director , will provide service to youth attending the clinic. The emphasis of care will be wellness and disease prevention and education. This will include the administrative of comprehensive risk assessments and working with youth around behavioral and psychosocial issues to promote wellness.
Works with the medial director to implement quality improvement initiatives and to ensure that the clinic is in compliance with JCAHA
Performs clinical laboratory services (POC testing, phlebotomy, administrative of immunizations) as required by staffing needs.
Assists in the planning, development and execution of operating procedure for the clinic.
Provides health education, wellness, disease prevention and risk reduction activities that reflect the goals and cultures of patients and families, as defined by patients.
Collaborates with Cicero Health Center of Cook County leadership involving staffing, administrative support, family planning services for students and any other collaborative programs
Participates in the planning and presentation of educational program for patients, clinic staff and school staff and community partners.
Work collaborate with the center advisor board
Provides patient advocacy.
Facilitates patient groups.
Provides support to patients and staff.
Prepare all required reports as required by ACHN and the Illinois School Health Program
Responsible for overseeing and evaluating clinical staff Collaborates with Nursing Divisional Director to develop evidence based nursing care standards ensuring quality patient care in assigned clinic or clinics is delivered within CCHHS established service standards, regulatory requirements, and professional standards of care.
Develops and implements an effective operating plan for the delivery of nursing care within the designated nursing clinics or areas. The operating plan applies to delivery of care including ongoing patient assessment, delivery of medication, and the operation protocol for medical equipment.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and initiates improvement efforts within the clinic to increase and exceed unit performance measures. Conducts patient observations, reviews verbal reports and written documentation, and establishes immediate and long term corrective action plans. Areas of clinic performance include compliance with standards of care, LOS, agency and overtime costs, position vacancies and turnover rates.
Holds primary responsibility for supervising, hiring, training, and disciplinary action staff.
Oversee, ordering, inventory medications and vaccines
Provides daily guidance to staff regarding patient care delivery problems.
Ensures all staff maintains requisite credential and licensure requirements.
Ensures staff follows accurate and complete documentation procedures at all times.
Coordinates efforts of ancillary health services to ensure continuity of patient care and positive communication with all hospital staff.
Works with appropriate departments to ensure proper maintenance of unit medical equipment.

Bachelor’s degree, Must have at least 1-2 years’ work experience in school –base setting and/ or in primary care, Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in supervisor capacity, experience in grant monitoring, bilingual (Spanish and English) prefer. Current BLS. Skills: Must have experience working with teenagers in a clinical and / counseling. Must have experience in managing youth women health issues
