Title: Director of Marketing & Communications – Non-Profit Location: Chicago Overview / Responsibilities: Our client is a premier independent day school, offering pre-kindergarten-8th grade education focused on academic purpose, collaborative learning, and a deep commitment to humanity. The school is a close-knit and vibrant community; the staff is young, enthusiastic and collaborative; and the environment is dynamic and customer-centric. They are in need of an entrepreneurial, visionary, and creative marketing communications professional who resonates with their educational mission, which is based in Jewish values. A new building is opening in 2019, and the Director will be an integral part of the school’s growth as her/his work is critical to generating new enrollment, maximizing student retention, enabling successful fundraising, and engaging all stakeholders. She/he will design and manage the school’s marketing and communications strategy and programs and will be responsible for all of the school’s messaging, publications, marketing materials, and branding efforts. The audience for many of the school’s communications are young parents and special focus is given to the school’s website and social media presence. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, this is a tremendous opportunity for an innovative and enterprising marketer to enhance brand investments, develop strategic partnerships, and facilitate relationships with all constituencies.
