Safe keep bank receipts and complete the Request for Reimbursement sheet using receipts. Obtain approval of the Director of the Request for Reimbursement, and then send to the Accountant for reimbursement into the account.
Keep volunteers’ hours records each month. Send hours at the end of the month to the accountant for recording in the books of BHH.
Keep the record of any in-kind donations including the name and address of the donor, description of the donation and the value proclaimed by the donor. Send the record to the accountant at the end of the month for recording in the books of BHH.
Fill out and keep track of medical application and billing information for residents.
Gather data and information for website updates and monthly newsletters and input that information with the approval of the Director.
Manage the cell phone billing and distribution of new phones to residents.
Manage a data base of volunteers, donors, and funding sources
Physical demands include:
Ability to lift 25 ponds and up to 10 ponds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects; May be assigned to multilevel building with some floors accessible by stairs only; Minimal requirement of moving about the office. Frequently express ideas by spoken words. Frequently operate equipment requiring moderate ability.
Educational and experience requirements include:
High school or some college or equivalent experience in bookkeeping, business administration or office management.
Skills and Abilities include:
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work on a team as well as independently. Demonstrated writing and computer skills.
This position operates in a residential environment. The workplace is a smoke and drug free environment. Work schedules or locations may vary, depending upon scheduling needs of the house. Staff may be required to attend meetings at other locations. Any changes in work schedules and/or locations will be implemented by the Executive Director and in accordance with agency policy.
