ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Under the supervision of the Site Manager, receptionist maintains the image of the agency to clients and to the public through his/her responsibility for greeting and directing all visitors either in person or on the phone.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welcomes clients and visitors by greeting them in a warm and friendly manner, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Perform receptionist duties including answering phones, taking and delivering messages, and assisting members of the public, making copies, preparing mailings, filing and recording required information;
Maintains an open channel of communication with all visitors and telephone calls, directing them to appropriate parties.
Maintains up-to-date information on agency programs, procedures and required information.
Translate memos/letters as requested.
Upholds the confidential nature of the agency's services to its clients.
Maintains safe and clean reception area.
Attends regular supervisory sessions with supervisor.
Attend All Staff Meetings, In-Service Trainings, etc. as required;
Performs other duties as assigned.
Min. High School diploma or GED, required
Computer Knowledge required
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) required
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
Hours: 30 hours/week; year round.
