St. Leonard’s in currently in search for a part-time Volunteer / Development Coordinator to join our team.
The Volunteer and Development Coordinator will be an essential member of the development team. The coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and executing multiple projects to help ensure all department goals are achieved. This individual must possess a demonstrated ability to work and lead independently in a team environment with a highly collaborative and diverse environment with peers, senior management and outside agencies. A confident, well-organized and good communicator will be a good fit for this position. Hours may include some weekend and evening hours.
This position reports to the Development Director.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Ability to match the needs and skills of volunteers
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to record information and maintain records effectively and efficiently
Excellent written, oral, technical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with diverse populations
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Must have 2 years’ experience as volunteer coordinator or a combination of 1 year intern/volunteer work with 1 year as a coordinator
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point, Publisher and Outlook.
Experience with Little Green Light and Volgistics software a plus
Travel to various St. Leonard’s Ministries sites and around the city and suburbs
This is a full time position that requires at least forty hours a week. Use of one’s own automobile is required and valid driver’s license. Must be able to work flexible hours including work some week nights and weekends.
