Job Summary: Accurately and consistently records and acknowledges donor gifts. Collaborates cross-departmentally to ensure best practices are identified and followed for gift entry and acknowledgement.
Processes monetary contributions, including pledges and payments from Make-A-Wish America, and records constituent and gift record entries into the donor database
Identifies and implements opportunities to improve gift information quality and gift processing efficiency
Processes online, event, and auction purchases
Maintains integrity of information in donor database by executing quality control procedures; works with Development and Accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and reallocate donations as needed
Responds to donor inquiries and contacts donors as needed
Provides support and instructs Development staff on the use of the donor database
Assists with non-gift entry support for internal events including participant entry and events module information
Assists with day-to-day operational donor data analysis where donor-level knowledge is needed to identify unique patterns
Assists with maintaining and promoting best practices for database usage within the Development team
Performs other duties as required or assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency with database programs -- knowledge of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge highly preferred
Highly skilled with all components of Microsoft Office Suite
Well organized and detail-oriented
Solid analytical ability (preferred)
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Strong initiative and customer service-orientation
Preferred Education and Experience:
1-3 years related experience
