About Sigma Alpha Epsilon
Sigma Alpha Epsilon is one of the country’s oldest and largest fraternities. Throughout our history, we’ve been a leader and a pioneer within the Greek space. We were the first fraternity to create a leadership program. The first to eliminate pledging. The first to ban hard alcohol from all events and activities.
And while a lot of organizations boast about being #1, we don’t. Because we’re not blazing new trails just for the sake of being able to say “we did it first”. We do things first because the actions we’re taking make a real difference that impact the lives of real people.
We pride ourselves in the decisions we’ve made. They haven’t been easy. But they’re beyond rewarding. We’re not just a fraternity. We’re a place men go to learn how be to a better person. To build a better world. To pass on better principles to the next generation. This is where men transform from who they are, to who they want to be.
We believe it takes someone of true character to stand up for what’s right. To make the tough choice. To say what needs to be heard. To put others before self. So that’s what we do. Every day. Every chapter. Every brother.
SAE is for men who want to take the c...ollegiate experience to a higher level. Who will find their replacement that will do the same. And who will take everything they’ve learned out into the world to be a guiding light to others.
It’s our duty to better ourselves, our brothers and everyone around us by holding true to our beliefs. Which is why we know this is the right time to take the next steps in our collective journey. Because now, more than ever, the world needs True Gentlemen. Now is the time for us to rise above.
