Under the Program Manager, The Mental Health Professional provides mental health assessments and individual and group therapy to inmates admitted to the Correctional Center’s Programs.
Review the major areas of responsibility for this job.
Completes intakes and assessments as needed.
Develops mental health treatment goals and objectives. Coordinates treatment with medical and mental health professionals
Participates in case consultation and planning as assigned.
Participates in team and individual supervision meetings as necessary.
Develops post-release plans.
Participates in staff growth and development activities.
Master's degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related field is required
LCPC, LCSW, or LSW is preferred
Experience or expertise with juveniles preferred
