Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing outstanding support to the Human Resources department, including maintaining information in the ADP Human Resources Information System (HRIS), benefits administration, and providing stellar customer service YOS' employees! We are looking for someone who thrives in a team environment and is always willing to go the extra mile to help the team shine.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for (list not inclusive): - Maintaining full life-cycle employee information, from hire through separation, in the ADP HRIS - Completing employment verification requests - Maintaining electronic and paper files - Delivering new hire on-boarding program, including preparation of materials and coordination of schedules - Reviewing monthly benefit deduction reports to ensure accuracy before sending to payroll - Assisting with FMLA paperwork administration and tracking - Assisting HR Generalist with the hiring process, including submitting job postings online and scheduling interviews
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field - HR internship completion - Ability to maintain strictest confidentiality - Exceptional organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities - High level of comfort adopting new technologies; basic Excel proficiency - Professional phone, email, and writing skills are a must - Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications: -Experience working with an HRIS database, preferably ADP -Previous experience working in a non-profit organization
