Under general direction, performs administrative tasks to support the Development team needs. Serve as an integral partner with event planning logistics to support annual signature fundraising gala. Play a lead role in coordinating stewardship efforts managing daily donor acknowledgment efforts. Serve as the teams Raisers Edge database manager.
Raisers Edge Management (30%)
Responsible for building Raisers Edge (RE) queries
Responsible for coordinating all marketing list inquiries for the Development team
Daily gift processing in RE and send daily gift report to team
Maintain constituent records in RE
Partner with IT, Customer Service and Accounting to ensure gift information entered into RE syncs with CRM and Great Plains
Partner with Accounting to ensure gifts received through MobileCause and Clover sync with RE, CRM and Great Plains.
Green Cross for Safety Awards Celebration (25%)
Manage registration process, payments and table seating in RE
Partner with NSC Meeting Manager on all event logistics
Manage all event volunteers
Partner with Director of Development on overall internal and external event marketing promotions
Partner with Director of Development on mission appeal and live auction logistics and process
Triage all messages and inquiries received through GreenCross@nsc.org mailbox
Manage MobileCause account and use the account for Mission Appeal
Partner with Accounting to utilize Clover for Live Auction payments onsite
Overall Team Support (20%)
Provide administrative support to CDO on trustee activity (printing/mailing board leadership letters, prepping for calls/meetings)
Compile donor meeting materials
Assist with prospect research and create donor profiles/background summary
Manage all expense check requests for team
Handle all travel arrangements for team
Triage all messages and inquiries received through Partnerships@nsc.org mailbox
Perform select administrative duties/special assignments as needed
Determine priorities and perform work in accordance with standard office procedures, frequently using own judgment, creativity and knowledge of functions throughout the National Safety Council (NSC) to produce desired end result.
Regularly interface with senior leaders, other departments, volunteers, donors and prospective partners.
Manage daily gift acknowledgement letters
Track all acknowledgement letters in RE
Manage stewardship gifts inventory and tracking in RE
Third Party Fundraising Initiatives (10%)
Set-up peer-to-peer fundraising pages and work with third party groups to utilize and maintain pages
Track all third-party fundraising groups, activity and revenue in RE
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
2 years experience in an office setting, preferably in fundraising
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
Proficient in the use of Blackbaud Raisers Edge and/or CRM
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to travel periodically throughout the year (5% of the time)
