Come join our team of skilled clinicians who provide direct clinical services to clients. Responsibilities include:
Carrying a caseload involving any or all of the Agency’s services, including individual, family, couple and group treatment modalities.
Performing the full range of clinical duties, including the gathering and analysis of data, formulation of assessment and treatment plans, and implementation of the treatment for routine and complex cases.
Formulating understanding of clients’ situations, providing appropriate services with supervisory consultation.
Developing and implementing skills in providing appropriate services, increasing responsibility for the appraisal of the effectiveness of own work through reflection and completion of all outcome measures documentation and treatment plans.
Performing record keeping functions and other administrative duties as required by the Agency including written treatment documentation within the required time frames.
Participating in agency staff development programs, professional group seminars, committees or conferences to increase professional knowledge.
Collaborating with other agency personnel, supervisor, appropriate specialists or consultants on specific case related problems including participating in weekly supervision.
Providing services and billing under Medicaid Rule 132 as a Qualified Mental Health Professional
Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program
Current state licensure required; LCSW preferred
2+ years experience working with children, teens, and adults
Ability to work a flexible schedule including 2 evenings/week
As this position requires visits to locations which may or may not be accessible by public transportation, must be able to drive, have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable access to a vehicle to travel in the Chicago metro area
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to work independently
Proficient clinical writing skills for mental health assessments, treatment plans, & session notes including Medicaid Rule 132 cases
