Purpose of Accountant Job
To perform day-to-day accounting and month end close accurately and efficiently as part of the Vanderloo team and client operations.
Essential job responsibilities for the Accountant vary but may include the following:
Participate in month end close providing supporting materials for workpapers
Enter cash receipts
Process and submit payroll
Update employee benefits
Communicate effectively with clients and Vanderloo team members
Respond to client requests for financial reports and data
Other duties as assigned
The Accountant is responsible for ensuring all internal controls are in place and data is accurate and timely.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Must be detailed oriented
