As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, this role provides strategic direction and leadership for all development efforts, ensuring a coordinated and donor-centered approach. You will design and implement a comprehensive, results-driven fundraising program for this $10+ million highly respected non-profit organization that incorporates individual giving, planned giving, corporate support, and foundation grants. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LEADER WHO HAS:
Proven fund-raising experience
Knowledge in all aspects of nonprofit philanthropy including individual giving, campaigns, major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, direct mail, digital fundraising, and planned giving in an organization larger or equivalent to RMHC-CNI.
Senior leadership and management experience
Served as a member of Senior Staff, setting organizational priorities and fostering an organization’s values.
Experience building, managing, leading, and/or guiding a development department.
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear, concise, accurate, respectful, and effective way.
Superb relationship management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to inspire and hold accountable diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Proven track record of performance in the Development area of similar sized or larger organization
A bachelor’s degree in a related field with ten years of experience, Master’s degree preferred
Experience with fundraising database programs (Raiser’s Edge preferred), as well as MS Office, PowerPoint, and other standard office software
