Reporting directly to the In-Home Service Coordinator, the Junior INH Team Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the data in Salesforce to monitor Home Care Aides’ (HCA) work schedules and assignments. Under supervision of the In-Home Service Coordinator, (S)he supervises and coordinates with the Lead Homemakers (LHMs) to monitor and ensure the quality of services, and corresponds with Care Coordination Units (CCUs) and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) on client related matters. (S)he also ensure the team meets and exceeds the program performance goals and responds to emergency situations or client matters after regular business hours 7 days a week to intervene in important client matters.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and improve Salesforce management and utilization: enter and update clients’ information, service hours, and 'plans of care' after receiving client agreement. Perform quality assurance:support LHM in making surprised monthly phone calls to Family HCAs.Assist the In-Home Service Coordinator with corresponding with CCUs and MCOs for clients’ related issues:Inform and follow up with CCUs and MCOs in regards to clients’ changes in physical, mental and social status, service interruption, and requests for changes in services. Assist the In-Home Service Coordinator to resolve and follow up on IDOA/MCO’s billing issues, including rejects.
Associate Degree and currently seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Business or within a Social/Human Services discipline to be completed within three years. Five years of work experience in aging services.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin or Toishanese), and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be experienced with various computer software programs. Must demonstrate knowledge and skills in working with seniors, and demonstrate skills in supervisory activities.
Required occasionally to positioning and transferring clients weighing in excess of 100 pounds, and required to frequently sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Environment and Scheduling:
Work is performed during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, in the office or at a clients’ home. Must be flexible and available to work after regular business hours 7 days a week to intervene in important client matters.

Employment & Financial Empowerment strengthens our community as a whole by enhancing the economic power of the individuals and families contributing to it. When our community members’ financial needs are met, they in turn become highly productive members of society who benefit us all.
• Adult Employment Program assists in finding job opportunities for adults who have multiple barriers—particularly new immigrants with low English language proficiency. The programs include thorough assessments of individuals, employment coaching and classes, a resource center, placement assistance, and employment retention.
• Title V Senior Employment Program fosters and promotes effective part-time opportunities for unemployed, low-income people age 55 or older with limited employment prospects. The goal is to help participants enter or re-enter the workforce via any career.
• Culinary Training Program offers Western cooking instruction and vocational English as Second Language—equipping students with knowledge and skills for entry-level positions with major hotels, institutions, and restaurants.
• Financial Literacy Program works with individuals and families to help them achieve their financial goals through coaching and education on budgeting, banking, credit, identity theft, loans, purchases, and financial planning.
• Housing Counseling assists individuals and families with preliminary home-buying protocol, post- purchase protocol, foreclosure prevention and intervention, and rental counseling. This program is certified by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
• Small Accessible Repairs for Seniors (SARFS) program helps seniors, who are aged 60 and older, make their home more accessible and safer so they can continue living with dignity.
