The Vocational Manager is the key person responsible for the design and implementation of employment and day programs for persons with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Duties include assessment of skills, coordination of both necessary and preferred activities for individuals, and providing training to individuals on the caseload.
A Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services is required along with at least one year of experience with the Developmentally Disabled population. Working knowledge or Microsoft Word and Excel are necessary. The individual hired for this position must be QIDP approved or able to complete the required training within 6 months of hire date. All needed training is provided by Lambs Farm. You must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
