Summary: ICOY is seeking a Trauma Specialist to spearhead trauma-informed care work for special project contracts.
The Trauma Specialist will use ICOY’s trauma informed capacity building assessment tool to provide training and technical assistance to youth service providers across the state. Accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Using ICOY’s trauma-informed capacity building assessment tool, develop and oversee system for assessment distribution and data analysis for small contracts.
Serve as ICOY’s primary liaison to contract/grantor agencies and programs and individual agencies as you work with them.
Identify and provide direct support for contractor/grant funded agencies, ensuring they are working to be more trauma-informed. This work includes providing support to help contractor appropriately monitor trauma-informed practices at agencies.
Input and analyze trauma-informed capacity building work in Salesforce or other ICOY CRM database. Use the data to compile and disseminate necessary narrative and statistical reports.
Work with other members of ICOY’s Trauma Department to develop and customized trauma trainings.
Represent the mission of ICOY at all related events, meetings, workshops, and conferences.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred in public health, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, or other related fields
Two to four years’ experience providing trauma-informed care consultation/training
Experience building positive relationships within teams and external parties
Understanding of organizational structure and systems they interact with
Knowledge of computers, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce and the Internet
A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance are recommended
