VNA Health Care is seeking a dynamic, customer-service orientated professional to join our WIC team.
The Bilingual (Spanish) WIC Public Health Assistant performs basic screening procedures for WIC clients to include performing nutrition-related health assessments and providing translation assistance for WIC materials, messages and nutrition assessments, counseling sessions and nutrition education sessions.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, some office technology courses desirable.
Knowledge/Skills: Bilingual in English/Spanish required. Effective communication skils, including neat and legible hand writing/printing. Ability to alphabetize and add/subtract/divide/multiply as necessary. Computer literate. Maintains CPR certification.
Type/Years Experience: Minimum of one year customer service experience preferred.
