Kaleidoscope Inc, a non-profit, child welfare organization located in Chicago, Illinois is looking to fill the position of Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) Specialist.

Under the supervision of the PQI Manager, the PQI Specialist is responsible for assiting with the day-to-day activities of the performance and quality improvement system for the agency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Uses valid and reliable data collection methods to measure outputs, outcomes, and progress toward performance targets.
Prepares data reports from various quality improvement activities.
Assists in preparation for agency licensing/contract monitoring/grant compliance visits in accordance with funder requirements
Performs data entry to all programs across the agency and reviews for trends and/or opportunities for improvement
Provide support to the PQI Manager to ensure activities related to the Agency’s quality improvement activities are effectively executed and documented
Fosters an agency culture of continual improvement through proactive engagement of staff at all levels in the agency’s performance and quality improvement system (PQI).
Participates in the implementation of the agency’s PQI Plan
Assists in the surveying of agency stakeholders to determine satisfaction with services.
Maintains a strong knowledge of DCFS and Agency policies and procedures.
Demonstrates the ability to utilize DCFS SACWIS and Performance Dashboard systems.
Completes special projects and performs other duties as assigned by the PQI Manager.
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in social work or social service related degree
Minimum Years of Experience: Experience with continuous quality improvement, research, data entry and analysis preferred, but not required.
Other Requirements: Experience working with Illinois DCFS or similiar agency. Excellent coalition with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills.
